Mira Vista Apothecary
Mira Vista Apothecary & Mercantile is a pharmacy and boutique gift shop located in Fort Worth, Texas. They have a variety of customers they serve from hospitals to consumers.
Objective
Transition a successful pharmacy located in a medical office park to a retail facing apothecary in a luxury neighborhood of Fort Worth, Texas. The only stipulation was an existing logo icon from the old brand mark would need to be carried over to the new design in some fashion.
Idea
Use natural luxury that aligns with the traditional apothecary industry of rich woods with a reflux blue to reinforce trust, luxury, and service. Emphasis was put on the word 'apothecary' because that is the most important and profitable area of the business. The script font added authenticity and established an elegant foundation for design scalability on packaging and collateral. Copywriting would focus on compassion and empathy for pharmacy patients that helped differentiate between big box pharmaceuticals and reinforced an open hand open heart mindset.
Responsibility
Worked with the client to develop the look and feel through all stages of the design process from moodboard selection, design presentation, and final production art. Additional design elements ranged from icons and supporting graphics creation, copywriting and art direction for photography.
